Sculpture
Lord Buddha
Made to order
Seated on a lotus throne, right hand raised in abhaya mudra, an alms bowl in the left. The robe is drawn in long parallel runs of wire that fall the way cloth falls rather than the way metal usually does, and each petal of the throne is worked separately before it is set.
